In short: the developer does not collect your budget data. Your entries are stored locally on your device, and the app contains no advertising or analytics.

Data you create

Transactions, categories, budgets, recurring entries, planning dates, and settings are stored locally in the app's container and shared App Group container. The App Group is used only by Home Budget and its widget on your device.

Data collection and tracking

KeyQuest Studio does not operate an account system or server for this app and does not collect, sell, rent, or use your financial data for tracking, advertising, profiling, or analytics.

Apple services

• If you use Siri or App Shortcuts, Apple may process your spoken or typed request according to your device settings and Apple's privacy policy. The app receives the intent values needed to perform the requested local action and does not send them to a developer server.
• Face ID or Touch ID authentication is performed by the operating system. The app receives only the authentication result and never receives biometric data.
• Notifications are scheduled locally on your device.

Widgets and locked devices

The widget reads a limited local summary from the shared App Group. Sensitive amounts are redacted when the device is locked. Siri actions require authentication so they cannot reveal or modify budget data from a locked device.

Export, retention, and deletion

Your information remains on the device until you change or delete it, delete all data from Settings, or remove the app. An export leaves the app only when you explicitly save or share it, and you control the destination and retention of that file.

Security

The app uses Apple's application sandbox and supports an optional local app lock. No method can guarantee absolute security, so protect your device and exported backup files.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app's functionality or legal requirements change. The revision date above identifies the current version.
